Join us for a Frame by Frame screening of the beloved Pixar animated film, Up (2009, 1h35m)! This special screening invites you to enjoy the film while working on a personal craft project—bring your own or participate in an art activity provided by the Colby Museum! To create a comfortable crafting environment, the house lights will remain partially dimmed throughout the film.
This screening is inspired by the exhibition Square + Triangle: Home in the Colby Museum’s Collection, which is on view until April 21 2025, at Joan Dignam Schmaltz Gallery of Art at the Paul J. Schupf Art Center in downtown Waterville.
This event is free and open to all, but ticket reservation is encouraged. Reserve your spot through the Maine Film Center’s website.
Frame by Frame is a collaborative program of the Colby College Museum of Art and the Maine Film Center. Film screenings are paired with speakers or programs that connect what we see on the big screen to what happens in the museum.
