Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the Colby College Museum of Art’s galleries. This week, Christopher Richards, Visiting Assistant Professor of Art, will facilitate a conversation focusing on Folded Plate with Houses by Sascha Brastoff.

Art Break programs are grounded in the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for yourself. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, community collaborators, and special guests.

Please note: This Art Break will take place in Square + Triangle, Home in the Colby Museum’s Collection at the Joan Dignam Schmaltz Gallery of Art at the Paul J. Schupf Art Center.
