Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the Colby College Museum of Art’s galleries. This week, Elisa Germán, Lunder Curator of Works on Paper and Whistler Studies, will facilitate a conversation focusing on T.E. Siegen by Richard Serra in the exhibition Surface Tension: Etchings from the Collection.
Art Break programs are grounded in the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for yourself. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, community collaborators, and special guests.
