Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the Colby Museum’s gallery spaces. This week, Siera Hyte, Lunder Institute Program Manager, will facilitate a conversation focusing on Crickett by Cara Romero, located in the Lower Lunder Wing Gallery, Painted: Our Bodies, Hearts, and Village exhibition.
Art Break programs are grounded in the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for yourself. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
