Join the Colby College Museum of Art for an all ages storytime marking the first day of the American Library Association’s Let Freedom Read: Banned Books Week, October 1-7, 2023.
This program will take place in the Come Closer: Selections from the Collection, 1978-1994 exhibition, which presents artworks from the Colby Museum’s collection that ask all visitors to explore the relationship between the personal and the political during the period from 1978 to 1994, as well as our contemporary moment.
All participants will receive a complimentary Come Closer notebook and are encouraged to spend time drawing and writing in the gallery space.
