Each Thursday, join us to spend thirty minutes with one work of art on view in the Colby Museum’s gallery spaces. This week, Joshua Veilleux, downtown gallery assistant, will facilitate the conversation, focusing on Jojo, a puppet by Ashley Bryan, located in the Joan Dignam Schmaltz Gallery of Art at Paul J. Schupf Art Center, downtown Waterville.
Art Break programs are grounded in the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for themselves. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
