Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the museum’s gallery spaces. This week, Jaime McLeod, Colby College Museum of Art Communications Manager, will facilitate the conversation, focusing on Creatures of the Fire, by Paula Wilson, located in the Joan Dignam Schmaltz Gallery of Art at Paul J. Schupf Art Center, downtown Waterville.

Each Thursday, join us to spend thirty minutes with one work of art on view in the Colby Museum’s gallery spaces. Art Break is grounded in the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for yourself. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
