Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the galleries at the Colby Museum. This week, Katherine Zhang ’24, Colby Museum Student Board member, will facilitate the conversation, focusing on Colored Vases by Ai Weiwei, located in the Turner Gallery.
Art Break programs are grounded in the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for yourself. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
