Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the galleries at the Colby Museum. This week, Jillian Impastato, Mirken Coordinator of Campus and Community Collaboration, will facilitate the conversation, focusing on Isamu Noguchi’s Torso #378, located in the Bernard and Barbro Osher Gallery.
Please note, this will be our last Art Break program for the Fall 2022 semester. We will resume this program on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
Art Break is a program that is based on the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for yourself. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
