Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the galleries at the Colby Museum. This week, Siera Hyte, Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, will facilitate the conversation, focusing on Sparkle Knot III by Lynda Benglis, located in All in One: Selections from the Alex Katz Foundation Collection in the Lower Jetté Gallery.
Art Break is a program that is based on the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for yourself. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
