Artful Movements
Paul J. Schupf Wing for the Works of Alex Katz
Join Kathleen Haberstock and Brenda Colfer for a calming yoga practice and sound bath that will restore and revitalize. Release tension from problem areas with gentle movement, practice yogic breathing techniques and meditation, and lie in restorative yoga poses while the healing sound bath washes over us. The goal is to leave feeling more relaxed and at ease.
We will have three sessions of yoga classes that will start at 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:15 pm. The classes will have about twenty minutes of movement & then 10-15 minutes of meditation, breath work & restorative yoga.
Note: Museum staff will direct participants to the pre-set yoga mats in the gallery space, placed in locations that help keep the art safe. Cleaning materials will be provided.
