Families with school-age kids, keep everyone in your household busy over winter break by signing up for a free Art Box from the Colby College Museum of Art. Each Art Box is filled with instructions and materials to create art inspired by works in the museum’s collections and exhibitions.
Registration will open at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1, on the museum’s social media channels. Boxes can be picked up at the Colby College Museum of Art between December 15–22. Art Boxes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit two per household. Note for caregivers: if there are more than two children in the home, boxes can be addressed to multiple names.
Included activities are designed for children in grades 4–6. Younger children may need adult assistance to complete the activities.
