Each Thursday, join us to spend time with a work of art on view in the galleries at the Colby Museum. This week, Student Guide Sally Kashala will lead the program focusing on The Gift by Kara Walker, located in the Cohen Gallery (part of the Jacob Lawrence: The Life of Toussaint L’Ouverture exhibit)
Talking as a group about works of art can offer us new ways to see the world, pose difficult questions, get us in touch with our emotions, challenge us with new ideas, and sometimes delight us with beauty. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
