This spring, The Maine Art Museum Trail is proud to present a digital program series that explores the notion of “making a home” and what that means for institutions and the communities they exist within, bringing to light the stories that have not been told and reflect on the changing museum field.

Join four of the nine Directors of The Maine Art Museum Trail members in conversation about the past, present, and future of their own institutions as well as the entirety of the landscape of art, museums, and cultural communities in Maine and beyond:

    • Christopher Newell | Abbe Museum
    • Amanda Lahikainen | Ogunquit Museum of American Art
    • Jennifer Pye | Monhegan Museum of Art & History
    • Anne Collins Goodyear and Frank H. Goodyear | Bowdoin College Museum of Art

Moderated by Mark Bessire, Judy and Leonard Lauder Director, Portland Museum of Art
