William D. Adams Gallery, Colby College Museum of Art

Stop by the museum on the first Tuesday of each month for an art-filled break. At the April event, we encourage everyone to spend some time creating your own tiny drawings, perfect for displaying in your workspace, or giving to a friend. We’ll have colored pencils and materials available in our lobby space. Bring your headphones or earbuds and listen to Student Guide-curated playlists in our gallery spaces. Try out our Soul-Satisfying Scavenger Hunt—looking for works of art that connect to what you need that day, whether it’s finding a work whose beauty takes your breath away or one that has something to teach you. Enjoy some sweet treats. And, take home a Create-It Kit, filled with all the materials you need to create an art project in your own living space.

This in-person experience is for campus audiences. At this time, the Colby College Museum of Art is open only to current Colby students, faculty, and staff. Events designated for Campus Audiences are available only to members of the campus community participating in the college’s COVID-19 testing program.
