Chris Sockalexis , Penobscot artist and Historic Preservation Officer for the Penobscot Nation, will demonstrate and share knowledge of the ancient art and technique of flint-knapping, stone and bone tool production.
This event is part of a museum initiative, Wiwenikan … the beauty we carry: a week of fashion, film, programs, demonstrations, and talks, which takes place from Oct. 5-14 at the museum and various locations on campus and in the community.
