Bring your blanket, chairs, and snacks to watch this free feature film in conjunction with the museum’s current exhibition Marsden Hartley’s Maine as it is the first two part series of “Films on the Hill and In The ‘Ville”.

Director Gary Winick re-imagines E.B. White’s classic 1952 book Charlotte’s Web, set in Somerset County, Maine. E.B. White was inspired in 1949 by a spider web in his Maine barn to craft a masterpiece about true friendship and love between two farm animals. Rated G. 97 mins.

The second of the two-part series “Films on the Hill and In The ‘Ville” is The Birds (1963) Thursday, Sept. 21, 7:15 p.m. at Railroad Square Cinema, Waterville.
