In conjunction with the Association of Art Museum Directors’ 8th annual Art Museum Day, “Art Museums Foster Vibrant Communities,” the Museum will install blank museum postcards on a clothesline in the William D. Adams Gallery. Visitors will be invited to select a postcard and write to our government representatives about the value of the arts and art museums. Visitors can then re-hang the postcards on the clothesline for others to read or drop them into a designated box. At the of the day, the postcards voicing the thoughts and concerns of our community will be mailed to respective representatives.
