Arnold Chang is a world-renowned artist, art historian, appraiser, and connoisseur who has taught and written extensively about Chinese painting. He served as Director of the Chinese Paintings Department at Sotheby’s and was a specialist at Kaikodo Gallery in New York. His landscape paintings have been exhibited internationally and are in the permanent collections of many museums. Chang studied the history of Chinese art with James Cahill at the University of California, Berkeley, and learned traditional connoisseurship and painting technique from Wang Jiqian (C.C. Wang) in New York.
